LET'S START WITH THE WICK
Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ of an inch using a wick trimmer for a safe, even burn, and increased candle life. Before each burn remove debris and buildup to avoid excess smoke. Keep the wick centered in the container.

BURN, BABY, BURN
When you burn, allow the candle wax to melt to the edges of the glass every time to prevent tunneling. This is especially important during your first burn!


SAFETY FIRST
Never leave a lit candle unattended, and don’t burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Protect the surface below your candle from heat by placing your candle on a coaster.


STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN
Do not burn your candle if there is less than ½ inch of wax remaining in the glass. Burning a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.

The candle smells wonderful. Unfortunately, in shipping, it arrived melted with wax everywhere. It was packaged in a plastic baggie and then surrounded by packing paper in a shipping box, but not actually placed in a box to protect the candle. They did ship me a replacement and unfortunately, that one came melted too, but just not as badly. It was also packaged the same way as the first time. My other candles came in individual boxes and they were just fine. I did have to refrigerate the candle and try to clean it up some but it’s not like a brand new candle would be. I do appreciate the replacement though.

I have this on my desk in my home office. I love that the lavender is there, but doesn't overpower the sage. This candle scents the room perfectly. It's a bit of a gamble buying a candle online when you can't smell it prior to purchase, but I am very happy with my choice.

I LOVE Jackson Vaughn candles! They are the ONLY candles I purchase, mainly because they are strong scented & the scent will linger in the room pretty much all day. My most recent purchase was the Sage & Lavender daily rituals candle. I don't know if I got a "dud" candle or not but there is literally no scent or smell to my candle! Nothing........at all! I keep burning it thinking something will kick in., but unfortunately that has not happened.
