The Jackson Vaughn Promise

For more than two decades, our family has made candles meant to be lived with and loved. We want you to love yours, too. Light it, live with it, love it. And if you don’t, we’ll make it right.

A warm and layered herbal tapestry. A charming and tranquil dance between rustic rosemary and warm patchouli. The notes entwine to weave a finely appointed fragrance.

The No 3 Local is okay but I had hoped for more of a rosemary smell. It is a light herbal fragrance; not as strongly scented a candle as I thought it would be. It is not unpleasant at all, just not one of my favorites by Jackson Vaughn. I love the company and the customer service is great. I have to go by the description only as there are no stores near me and that is a bit risky but there have only been two candles that I have NOT been able to burn out of all my purchases (both too sweet smelling). The candle burns evenly and the container is pretty.

I have bought many candles from Jackson Vaughn and Society Candle (Bishop Arts, Dallas) over the years, but this one is my favorite. I've probably burned through 10-12 of them over the last few years. We recently moved from Denver to Dallas and I ordered two for our new home! Would love to see them in larger sizes as well.

Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ of an inch using a wick trimmer for a safe, even burn, and increased candle life. Before each burn remove debris and buildup to avoid excess smoke. Keep the wick centered in the container.

When you burn, allow the candle wax to melt to the edges of the glass every time to prevent tunneling. This is especially important during your first burn!

    Safety First

    Safety First

Never leave a lit candle unattended, and don’t burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Protect the surface below your candle from heat by placing your candle on a coaster.

Do not burn your candle if there is less than ½ inch of wax remaining in the glass. Burning a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.
