Spend a Texas summer in our hometown! Enjoy all the ripe juicy citrus notes of Texas Summer with a side of our Oak Cliff candle- a relaxing and warm tribute to our flagship store location.
Texas Summer: Fresh Texas Peaches, Sun Ripened Apricot and Warm Patchouli
Oak Cliff: Spiced Bourbon, Mexican Vanilla, Smokey Amber
• Hand-poured artisan soy wax blend candle
• Natural cotton wick
• Available in 16oz and 9oz glass jars with decorative lids
• 16 OZ JAR: 60 hour burn time, 14.25oz Net Wt
• 9 OZ JAR: 40 hour burn time, 7.25oz Net Wt
LET'S START WITH THE WICK
Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ of an inch using a wick trimmer for a safe, even burn, and increased candle life. Before each burn remove debris and buildup to avoid excess smoke. Keep the wick centered in the container.
BURN, BABY, BURN
When you burn, allow the candle wax to melt to the edges of the glass every time to prevent tunneling. This is especially important during your first burn!
SAFETY FIRST
Never leave a lit candle unattended, and don’t burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Protect the surface below your candle from heat by placing your candle on a coaster.
STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN
Do not burn your candle if there is less than ½ inch of wax remaining in the glass. Burning a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.

TEXAS SUMMER
My sister-in-law had the Texas Summer burning in her home. It smelled up the entire house. I really liked it so I bought myself one. It is throwing little if any scent. A bit disappointed. 🙁
We are so sorry to hear this and completely understand the disappointment especially when you fell in love with it at your sister-in-law's home! Scent throw can actually vary based on a few things like room size, airflow, and burn time. A couple of tips that make a big difference: make sure to do a full melt pool on the first burn (letting it burn until the wax melts edge to edge), trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each burn, and give it a warm enclosed space to really fill up. That said we want you to love your candle and this should not be your experience. Please reach out to us directly at orders@jacksonvaughn.com and we will make it right for you!
These candles burn for a long time and the scent is not too strong but you can smell them. Top-notch quality!
Awesome!! Will order again!
